Having seen Karen and Mick’s enquiry come into the company’s in-house channel, I was keen to take them under my wing to help organise their celebratory special occasion holiday.
After a chat and knowing how much they loved Mauritius, I was confident I could help create fantastic memories with the right Maldives experience.
Managing to make them cry (with happiness!) was the icing on the cake...
It was our first time booking with Elaine, who contacted us quickly after our initial enquiry and was excellent right from the word go.
Having visited Mauritius several times and loving the Indian Ocean, we were eager for a ten-day holiday to experience the Maldives.
Elaine offered helpful information and advice, met our budget, communicated superbly throughout, and sorted everything - even delivering our documents and paperwork. Now that’s service!
We flew with Emirates from Birmingham to Dubai on the stunning A380, enjoying spending our stopover going round the shops, before travelling onward to Male on the significantly less comfortable Boeing 777, and eventually to Kuredu Island Resort via a 35-minute sea plane journey, which we loved every minute of.
The resort totally lived up to our first impressions - both the hotel and surroundings were beautiful, the staff and service were outstanding, and we felt well and truly looked after.
We were booked into a beach villa, but upon arrival were advised that Elaine had sorted an upgrade to a superb water bungalow - a dream come true! We were over the moon and messaged her immediately with our sincere thanks.
Everything we wanted for the relaxing holiday we sought was here and we didn’t feel a need to do anything but enjoy lazing around and appreciate the beauty all around.
The sand bar was amazing. We did manage to venture from one end of the island to the other via taxi and alas the sunset cruise we had booked sadly got cancelled due to the weather conditions.
The food was delicious with an impressive range of eating options catering for all tastes with the Sangu Restaurant our favourite, serving delightful cuisine in a romantic ambience, reached at night by a beautifully lit entrance.
We had a fantastic holiday. Kuredu is a stunning island - we loved every minute there and found the Maldives breathtaking.
Elaine was a breath of fresh air, and we were so impressed with her customer service that she has already booked our next holiday to Mauritius.
