At Designer Travel, we are deeply committed to sustainability, and we want our policies to be driven by meaningful actions, not just words. To support this, I was given the opportunity to work with sustainability travel specialists, Kiwano Tourism, and participate in their six-module e-learning masterclass.

The masterclass delved into a range of important topics, including greenwashing, tourism leakage, gender inequality and over-tourism. While I had some prior knowledge of these areas, others were eye-opening.
The course also involved practical tasks, such as reviewing a hotel's sustainability practices, which provided hands-on learning.
I’m proud to have completed the masterclass. It was an enriching experience, and I now feel confident discussing these critical issues in the realm of sustainable travel.
